Join OJJDP in observing International Youth Day on August 12. Sponsored by the United Nations, International Youth Day began in 2000 as a way to celebrate young people, recognize their contributions and the challenges they face, and shine a global spotlight on youth issues.
As part of OJJDP's ongoing efforts to support youth, broaden their opportunities, and create a better future, OJJDP is hosting a series of listening sessions this summer to hear input from youth justice stakeholders, national partners, and justice-involved youth and families. Feedback from the listening sessions will inform how OJJDP carries out the Office's three priorities to advance youth justice.
