The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) announces the availability of OJJDP News @ a Glance, October 2024. One of this month’s feature stories highlights OJJDP’s celebration of Youth Justice Action Month through a series of events held across the country, including a visit to Café Momentum, a nonprofit restaurant and culinary training facility for youth in Pittsburgh, PA. The other feature story focuses on recipients of the Office’s Title II Formula Grants in Ohio and Rhode Island. “From the Administrator’s Desk” spotlights a panel discussion about the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act’s impact featuring Administrator Liz Ryan and eight former OJJDP administrators. “From the Field” reports on a group mentoring program in Bozeman, MT, for vulnerable teens that includes weekly outdoor adventures. “Tribal Connections” highlights a peer-to-peer mentoring program for members of the Nez Perce Tribe's youth council.
