This issue's Message from the Administrator outlines OJJDP's multi-pronged effort to eliminate racial disparities in the juvenile justice system. The top story features Administrator Liz Ryan's plenary remarks at MENTOR's National Mentoring Summit held in January.
The issue marks National AMBER Alert Awareness Day with an update on the support OJJDP provides law enforcement and other partners to recover missing and abducted children.
The Tribal Connections section highlights the 2022 State and Tribal Relations Assistance Division Conference and the National Tribal Youth Conference, which were held concurrently; and orientation and listening sessions for new OJJDP grantees who received funding under the Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation.
