January 15, 2024 is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Each year, people around the world celebrate and honor Dr. King’s life and legacy by participating in a “National Day of Service.”
Join OJJDP and other federal government agencies as we mark this day by participating in service projects that will benefit communities across the country.
We encourage you to use the tools and resources found on the AmeriCorps MLK Day of Service website to:
1. Volunteer. Use the AmeriCorps Volunteer Search Tool to find opportunities on MLK Day in your zip code(s),
2. Share. Send AmeriCorps’ MLK Day resources to your network and partners, and
3. Post. Share your volunteer activities on social media.
