OJJDP Announces Second Chance Act Funding To Support Incarcerated Parents and Their Children

OJJDP has released its FY 2023 Second Chance Act Addressing the Needs of Incarcerated Parents and Their Minor Children solicitation. This grant program provides funding to states, local governments, and community-based organizations to develop programs that respond to the needs of incarcerated parents who have children younger than 18 years old. The goal is to reduce recidivism among parents, support responsible parenting, and foster positive development for youth.
