Today at 2 p.m. E.T., the U.S. Department of Justice will live-stream the National Missing Children's Day ceremony honoring the heroic and exemplary efforts of agencies, organizations, and individuals to protect children. OJJDP Administrator Caren Harp will give opening remarks and Acting Associate Attorney General Jesse Panuccio will present awards to the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children task force and two law enforcement officers for their investigations of cases of child sexual exploitation and child safety. The Department will also recognize a private citizen who intervened to rescue an abducted infant. Additionally, Eden Hoffmann, a fifth grade student, will be recognized as the National Missing Children's Day national poster contest winner.
