The Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) released a new report, Substantiated Incidents of Sexual Victimization Reported by Juvenile Justice Authorities, 2013–2018, that presents data on incidents of sexual victimization perpetrated by youth and staff in juvenile justice facilities, including characteristics of victims and perpetrators. It also provides data on victim and perpetrator outcomes.
