The Crime and Justice Institute, through funding from OJJDP's Second Chance Act Youth Reentry Program, is accepting applications for its Improving Community Supervision National Training and Technical Assistance Program.
This training is designed to help local, regional, and Tribal community supervision agencies meet the goals of the Second Chance Act.
Topics include:
- Improving outcomes for youth through evidence-based community supervision policies, practices, and programs.
- Reducing admissions to confinement resulting from community supervision/probation violations.
- Collaborating with law enforcement to reduce recidivism and improve public safety.
