The National Institute of Justice (NIJ), with OJJDP support, is accepting applications for its FY 2022 Youth Mentoring Research and Evaluation solicitation.
OJJDP has a robust mentoring research and evaluation legacy, and continues to support mentoring initiatives nationwide. This project supports rigorous research and evaluation efforts to address mentoring services provided to youth who are 17 years old or younger at the time of admission to a program.
Among its objectives, the solicitation aims to understand how mentoring can promote positive youth development, examine the long-term effects of mentoring program participation, and optimize program effectiveness.
