Digital Hate and Radicalization: Trends and Effects on Adolescents
This microlearning held on September 25, 2024 explores ways in which digital platforms and social media contribute to the spread of hate speech and radical ideologies among young people. Presenter Jeff Schoep, Founder and President of Beyond Barriers, addresses how youth are radicalized in online spaces and how this can hinder their ability to think critically and form opinions. Mr. Schoep highlights how to equip youth with the knowledge and skills to navigate the online world safely.
