CSEC and the Juvenile Justice System: Raising Awareness for Juvenile Prosecutors
This webinar, hosted by the National District Attorneys Association (NDAA) on June 18, 2024, defined commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), discussed risk factors for victimization, and provided strategies for identifying and preventing CSEC. It provided information about how CSEC victims end up in the juvenile justice system, how to identify them, and how to provide appropriate services. This course emphasized treating youth in juvenile justice systems who have experienced CSEC as victims.
