Culture as Prevention Webinar Series: Indigenous Knowledge and Tribal-Based Practices
This webinar held on August 29, 2023 discussed indigenous knowledge as evidence and a valid form of evidence for inclusion in federal policy, research and decision making. The webinar also discussed Tribal and minority-based practices to reduce risk factors and increase protective factors. This webinar is part of series titled Culture as Prevention. The training series is the result of a partnership between the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and the National Indian Country Training Initiative.
