Child Death Investigations Webinar
Held on September 7, 2022, this webinar explored leading causes of child deaths, with a focus on age and demographics. The webinar discussed evidence collection and preservation, resources, medical examiner roles, investigative steps, and legal issues and prosecution. It also discussed considerations for evidence and scene preservation in child abuse cases that have the potential to become death investigations, and the value of multidisciplinary teams in these difficult cases.
