This newsletter provides updates on mentoring research and the work of the National Mentoring Research Center (NMRC) board.
The National Mentoring Research Center E-Newsletter focuses on mentoring research, the work of the NMRC Research Board, and emerging knowledge on effective mentoring services for youth. This issue features a reading by Dr. Michael Karcher that describes the many ways program staff influence mentor-mentee match outcomes; summarizes new research articles produced by the members of the NMRC Research Board and other scholars; and highlights NMRC tools and resources including a youth guide for mentees on how to make the most of their mentoring experience and tools to help you assess the impact of mentoring on mentors and caregivers. The newsletter also provides summaries of episodes of the Reflections on Research Podcast, information about other publications of the NMRC, announcements of upcoming events, and the agenda of the 2024 NMRC Research Symposium.
