Awards under this program will assist ICAC task forces to meet the demand for effective and efficient forensic examinations to support investigation and prosecution of online enticement and exploitation of children by sexual predators and child pornography.

The Broward County Sheriff’s), South Florida ICAC (SFICAC), through this funding will hire a wounded, ill or injured veteran to serve as a Digital Forensic Analyst (DFA). This new hire will enhance the task force by conducting thorough and efficient computer forensic examinations, continue on-going partnerships with County and Federal Prosecutors to increase the number of investigations and prosecutions, and build capacity within its geographical region to increase the number of agencies involved in the investigation of ICAC related offenses. The analyst will reduce the forensic examination backlog and increase the number of examinations completed. (CA/NCF).
