Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2020, $2,000,000)
The FY2020 Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program Support will provide program support to the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Forces, the ICAC task force training and technical assistance providers, and other local, state, and federal law enforcement officials partnering with the ICAC Task Force Program.
Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) will build upon its demonstrated capabilities as the grant incumbent, its established infrastructure, and its network of subject matter experts and partners to deliver high-quality, cost-effective national training and technical assistance. FVTC will continue its delivery of services under the ICAC Program support program by: (1) supporting a national training event focused on technology-facilitated crimes against children, ICAC commanders meetings, and implementation of the National Strategy for Child Exploitation Prevention and Interdiction; (2) monitoring consumer feedback (to continue to maintain a uniform, systematic evaluation process that enables FVTC to assess user satisfaction with services through the collection, analysis, and reporting on technical assistance data from initial request to delivery; (3) managing a training and technical assistance website (to maintain, expand, and update the ICAC Task Force Program website as well as receive and track online requests for training and technical assistance); and (4) developing special projects (as directed by OJJDP to address the needs of the ICAC Program, OJJDP, and other key stakeholders). FVTC will receive input and direction from OJJDP on technical assistance topics, publications, manuals, training conferences, and other substantive issues and deliverables. CA/NCF.
