Victims of Child Abuse (VOCA) Category 4: CAC Military Partnership Pilot Project

This program furthers the Department's mission by providing grants and cooperative agreements that support Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs). Victims of Child Abuse Act Support for Children's Advocacy Centers Program, Category 4 supports subgrants to CACs to explore ways in which the CAC model can be leveraged to help military installations address cases of child abuse. Funds are designated for a pilot project that supports local CACs to identify, develop, and operationalize best practices.
Under this project, the National Children's Alliance (NCA) will release an RFP in 2019, with OJJDP input and approval, to invite eligible applicants to apply for funds to improve the provision of services to victims of child abuse and their families in the military. In addition, NCA will provide training and technical assistance specific to their released RFP as well as targeted support for the overall project and selected subgrantees. CA/NCF
