This program furthers the Department's mission by providing grants and cooperative agreements for training and technical assistance to organizations that OJJDP designates.

OJJDP’s Center for Coordinated Assistance to States Project (CCAS) provides states and communities with coordinated resources and training and technical assistance to assist in the planning, establishing, operating, coordinating, and assessing of delinquency prevention, intervention, and juvenile justice system improvement projects. In partnership with the American Institutes for Research (AIR), the Center for Juvenile Justice Reform (CJJR), and the Council of Juvenile Correctional Administrators, CCAS will continue to coordinate the delivery of research-driven training and technical assistance to improve juvenile justice policy and practice within states, territories, tribal units, and communities and enhance outcomes for at-risk youth.
