Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2014, $2,000,000)
The purpose of the Missing and Exploited Children Training and Technical Assistance Program is to build comprehensive, broad-based and adaptable training that will improve the multidisciplinary team response and prosecution of child victimization cases. In collaboration with nationally recognized Missing and Exploited Children partner agencies, the grantee will develop a strategic training mission and will provide training to multidisciplinary teams as outlined. The grantee will develop various reports and publications as approved by OJJDP. The grantee will maintain a cadre of experts, evaluate and assess training outcomes, and develop new training utilizing cost-effective and innovative learning platforms.
