OJJDP Internet Crimes Against Children Program Support

This program is funded under the authority of the Providing Resources, Officers, and Technology to Eradicate Cyber Threats to Our Children Act of 2008, (P.L. 110-401, 42 USC 17601, et seq.)(The PROTECT Act). Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) will provide program support to the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Forces, the ICAC training providers, and other local, state, and federal law enforcement officials partnering with the ICAC Task Force Program. Program support will include, but is not limited to: scheduling and planning training conferences and routine business meetings to include up to four ICAC Task Force Commanders Meetings and the National Law Enforcement Training on Child Exploitation; deploying and maintaining a stand-alone online training registration system; deploying and maintaining an ICAC training web site and public facing web site; developing a technical assistance needs assessment and response protocol; and other support functions as determined by OJJDP. FVTC will receive input and direction from OJJDP on technical assistance topics, publications, manuals, training conferences, and other substantive issues and deliverables. CA/NCF

This supplement of $25,000 is provided with special project funds through an interagency agreement between the Department of Justice, Justice Management Division and OJJDP specifically for the purpose of supporting printing and shipping of the National Strategy for Child Exploitation Prevention and Interdiction. Program support will include, but is not limited to: scheduling, planning and coordinating training conferences and routine business meetings to include up to four ICAC Task Force Commanders Meetings, a New Commander Orientation meeting, and the National Law Enforcement Training on Child Exploitation; developing a technical assistance needs assessment and response protocol; providing up to 14 onsite, targeted technical assistance sessions to requesting task forces; delivering up to 10 webinars; deploying and maintaining a stand-alone online training registration system; deploying and maintaining an ICAC training web site and public facing web site; and other support functions as determined by OJJDP. FVTC will receive input and direction from OJJDP on technical assistance topics, publications, manuals, training conferences, and other substantive issues and deliverables. CA/NCF
