Using OJJDP funds, The Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth seeks to support efforts of the Department of Children Services to provide information and resources to assist with implementation of PREA and compliance with PREA standards for juvenile facilities. The goal of the PREA Standards Implementation Project is to address the PREA Standard related to Resident Education by teaching youth in juvenile facilities in a uniform and consistent manner about their rights to be free from sexual abuse and sexual harassment. An audiovisual DVD will be produced that is easy to understand, age appropriate, linguistically and culturally sensitive. The DVD will be provided to each Youth Development Center, detention center, and resident contract provider. NCA/NCF
