Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2013, $1,650,000)
This program is funded under the authority of the Providing Resources, Officers, and Technology to Eradicate Cyber Threats to Our Children Act of 2008, (42 USC 17601-17611, et seq.)(The PROTECT Act. Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) will coordinate with OJJDP to deliver training to the ICAC Task Forces for the purpose of building entry level and core knowledge for ICAC investigators. Required training courses will include, but are not limited to, ICAC Investigative Techniques, ICAC Under Cover Chat and peer-to-peer investigations. FVTC will tailor existing training courses to increase non-traditional, lower-cost delivery techniques, such as web-based training and distance learning. CA/NCF
