National Alliance of Missing Children's Organizations (NAMCO)

The Center for Innovation and Resources, Inc. plans to develop and sustain the Center for Missing and Abducted Children's Organizations (CMACO). CMACO will promote culturally appropriate organizational capacity through resource sharing and peer learning. They will also share resources with stakeholders, law enforcement, government, non profit organizations and community based organizations. Proposed activities include the following: to continue to develop and implement the strategic plan, refine membership development and outreach strategies, and identify best practices for working with families of missing children. CMACO will conduct site visits to member organizations and disseminate "how to" information on best practices.
