The Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement (LCLE) is the designated state agency responsible for the administration of JABG funds. The LCLE will pass through 75% of its FY 2012 JABG funds to units of local governments. The purpose of Louisiana's FY 2012 JABG project is to reduce juvenile offending through accountability-based initiatives focused on the offender and to improve the juvenile justice system. Funds will be allocated to new projects and continuation projects that will address one or more of the 17 JABG purpose areas. Activities that will be implemented to achieve the project goals and objectives include establishing and maintaining accountability-based programs and programs to facilitate the successful reentry of juvenile offenders from state or local custody in the community. The JABG Coordinator conducts on-site monitoring visits to ensure goals and objectives are being met and to provide any needed technical assistance. NCA/NCF
