Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2012, $392,636)

The JABG Program for the State of Wisconsin is administered by the Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance (OJA). Wisconsin will pass through 75 percent of its JABG award to units of local government, and award its 20 percent state share funds to units of local government as well. These funds may be used to address purpose areas 6, 9, 10, and 15. Activities that will be implemented to achieve the goals and objectives include establishing a system of juvenile court records and information-sharing programs, and establishing and maintaining programs to enable juvenile courts and juvenile probation officers to hold youth accountable and reduce recidivism.
