Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2012, $449,535)
The Indiana Criminal Justice Institute is requesting its FY 2012 Juvenile Accountability Block Grant funding to support programs at the state and local levels that focus on: accountability and development of graduated sanctions projects (Purpose Area 1); risk and needs assessments for juveniles and their families that suffer from substance abuse and mental health issues (Purpose Area 12); and the development of information-sharing systems that will allow for access to treatment and information-sharing among service providers that are likely to serve the same youth and their families (Purpose Area 10). Indiana passes through the required 75% of its JABG funds to units of local government. NCA/NCF
