ICAC Training and Technical Assistance for Working With Victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation

This project will provide training and technical assistance to ICAC Task Forces to increase the capacity of the task force members to effectively combat interrelated forms of the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), including Internet-facilitated crimes against child victims. The project will accomplish this goal through the following activities: (1) providing intensive training and technical assistance to ICAC Task Forces in five cities across the US approved by OJJDP; (2) providing customized trainings and as-needed, intensive technical assistance for the five ICAC Task Forces selected by OJJDP, based on a needs assessment and collaboratively designed TA plan, through a minimum of 2 days on-site, and remote follow up TA; and (3) contracting an independent evaluator to ensure that the training and curriculum are properly evaluated.
