The Title V Community Prevention Grants Program intends to reduce risks and enhance protective factors to prevent at-risk youth from entering the juvenile justice systems and to intervene with first-time and non-serious offenders to keep them out of the juvenile justice system.
The State of New Hampshire, Division for Juvenile Justice Services will use Title V funds to fund one community based organization that will assist and complement existing services that address the needs of at-risk youth in one of the following areas: disproportionate minority contact, detention alternatives, or mental health. Priority will be given to applicants that use evidence-based programming. Quarterly progress reports including population served, activities, and progress in meeting goals are required. (NCA/NCF)
