Montana's Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws Project

The goal of the Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Program is to support and enhance State efforts, in cooperation with local jurisdictions, to enforce laws prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages, or the consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors. For the purpose of the program, minors are defined as individuals under 21 years of age.

Specifically, the State of Montana's Board of Crime Control intends to utilize EUDL funds to support and enhance statewide efforts to reduce underage drinking, in cooperation with local jurisdictions. The funds will be used to support public advertising campaigns to reduce underage drinking, in cooperation with local jurisdictions. Montana's Board of Crime Control will support innovative and collaborative programs that prevent and combat underage drinking. Activities will include, but are not limited to: quarterly task force meetings, responsible alcohol server education, advertising campaigns, compliance checks, party patrols, and working with local coalitions.
