Using OJJDP funds, Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, Inc. and Project Harmony Child Advocacy Center have combined their expertise in serving youth with sexual behavior problems (SBP) and victims of child sexual abuse in Omaha, Nebraska to create the RSafe® 10-14 Project. The objective of the project is to provide immediate evidence-based screening for 40 to 50 youth, including youth with SBP and child victims of sexual abuse, over the extended project period. The project will provide evidence-based treatment for those youth. Multidisciplinary treatment (MDT) team meetings will serve to coordinate care for the youth with SBP, child victims, and their families. Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, Inc.'s 12 years of experience providing a comprehensive continuum of care treatment modality for youth with SBP, child victims and their families through the RSafe® (Reparation and Safety) Program is used to provide individual, family and group therapy, educational classes for parents, support groups and clinical case management for all those involved in the RSafe® 10-14 Project.
