FY2010 Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force: National Proscutor Training Program

This program is funded under the authority of the Providing Resources, Officers, and Technology to Eradicate Cyber Threats to Our Children Act of 2008, (P.L. 110401, 42 USC 17601, et seq.)(the PROTECT Act).

The National District Attorney's Association (NDAA) will host a series of prosecutor training events, to include: Digital Evidence - A Crash Course for Prosecutors on Understanding and Prosecuting Technology-Facilitated Child Sexual Exploitation and Forensic Evidence - Understanding and Explaining Digital Evidence in Technology-Facilitated Child Sexual Exploitation Cases. Each course will be offered three times. NDAA will also offer a multidisciplinary course, Demystifying SMART Devices. In addition to the training courses, NDAA will train at five state district attorneys conferences and child maltreatment conferences. (CA/NCF)
