Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $575,000)
This program is funded under the authority of the Providing Resources, Officers, and Technology to Eradicate Cyber Threats to Our Children Act of 2008, (42 USC 17611-17617, et seq.)(The PROTECT Act).
Search Inc. will provide ICAC Task Force investigators training on investigating cellular telephones and devices, wireless networks, peer-to-peer file sharing, and social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. SEARCH will develop and deliver online courses training programs as well as provide courses through traditional classroom presentations. Additionally, Search, Inc. will develop relevant white papers that address emerging technologies and their application to child exploitation and/or investigate those technologies. (CA/NCF)
