ICAC National Training Program: Specialized Investigative Techniques, Peer to Peer File Sharing

This program is funded under the authority of the Providing Resources, Officers, and Technology to Eradicate Cyber Threats to Our Children Act of 2008, (42 USC 17601-17611, et seq.)(The PROTECT Act). Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) will deliver specialized training to the ICAC Task Forces on investigating child exploitation offenses through the use of peer to peer file sharing products. FVTC will pay a portion of the salary and fringe benefits for four employees responsible for management and logistics of the training events. FVTC will coordinate with OJJDP to determine the number of courses to be delivered and the regional distribution of the courses during the project period.
