Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $84,945)
This program intends to reduce risks and enhance protective factors to prevent at-risk youth from entering the juvenile justice systems and to intervene with first-time and non-serious offenders to keep them out of the juvenile justice system.
The Commission on Children and Families (OCCF) is the designated State agency to receive Title V funds in the State of Oregon. It is estimated that one to five sub-grants will be supported with the FY 2010 Title V allocation as a second year continuation grant based on the performance of selected projects. Title V Program Areas that will be given priority consideration include Disproportionate Minority Contact (Program Area #10) and American Indian Programs (Program Area #22).
