FY 2010 Title V Community Prevention Program

This program intends to reduce risks and enhance protective factors to prevent at-risk youth from entering the juvenile justice systems and to intervene with first-time and non-serious offenders to keep them out of the juvenile justice system.

The Texas Criminal Justice Division intends to combine FY 2010 Title V funding with remaining funds from the FY 2008 and FY 2009 program years to provide funding to three new programs supporting collaborative, community-based delinquency prevention efforts.
