This program intends to reduce risks and enhance protective factors to prevent at-risk youth from entering the juvenile justice systems and to intervene with first-time and non-serious offenders to keep them out of the juvenile justice system.
The Missouri Department of Public Safety anticipates holding FY2010 funds to combine with FY 2011 funds, at which time a competitive bid process will be conducted to award funds to one to three agencies.
