Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $84,945)
This program intends to reduce risks and enhance protective factors to prevent at-risk youth from entering the juvenile justice systems and to intervene with first-time and non-serious offenders to keep them out of the juvenile justice system.
Maryland will continue to use Title V funds to address truancy issues as a statewide initiative. The State will award one sub-award to support service delivery to students and their families through data sharing, training, youth and family intervention, and coordination of prevention activities.
