Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $84,945)
This program intends to reduce risks and enhance protective factors to prevent at-risk youth from entering the juvenile justice systems and to intervene with first-time and non-serious offenders to keep them out of the juvenile justice system.
The Michigan Department of Human Services, Bureau of Juvenile Justice will award one (1) subgrant for the FY 2010 Title V Community Prevention Grants Program. The awarded funds will be used to formulate and implement a locally-driven comprehensive delinquency prevention plan.
