The OJJDP FY 10 Earmarks Program furthers the Department's mission by providing grants, cooperative agreements, and other assistance authorized by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, as amended, to organizations identified in the Conference Report to accompany the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2010 (P.L. 111-117), H.R. Conf. Rep. No. 111-366 at 702-714.
ZERO TO THREE, on behalf of the Douglas County Juvenile Court, proposes to continue the Douglas County Court Team for Maltreated Infants and Toddlers. The goal of each Court Team is to increase the knowledge and skills of community stakeholders so that their communities better meet the needs of maltreated infants and toddlers and their families involved in the child welfare system. Ultimately the Douglas County Court Team hopes to reduce the recurrence of child maltreatment among the families served. NCA/NCF
