The OJJDP FY 10 Earmarks Program furthers the Department's mission by providing grants, cooperative agreements, and other assistance authorized by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, as amended, to organizations identified in the Conference Report to accompany the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2010 (P.L. 111-117), H.R. Conf. Rep. No. 111-366 at 702-714.
SGA Youth & Family Services' PROJECT CHOICE is a tiered prevention and intervention program that provides rehabilitative services to youth at-risk or currently involved in the justice system. Prevention education, individual, group counseling, and case management services will be provided to 120 at-risk students attending a Chicago elementary school and high school. A specialized group for female youth will address issues related specifically to adolescent girls. Home visiting and family engagement services will also be provided to youth. NCA/NCF
