OJJDP's Demonstration Programs Division Grants were established to provide grants, cooperative agreements, and other assistance to organizations identified in the Conference Report to accompany the Department of Justice Appropriations Act, 2010 (Pub. L. 111-117) -- H.R. Conf. Rep. No. 111-366.
The University of Pittsburgh (UP)will facilitate three activities pertaining to the Pittsburgh Youth Study and the larger Program on the Correlates and Causes of Delinquency, of which the Pittsburgh Youth Study is one of the three longitudinal studies. In consultation with OJJDP staff, UP will start the process of archiving the Pittsburgh Youth Study data files at the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD). Second, UP will improve dissemination of the findings from the Pittsburgh Youth Study by means of (a) the creation of a website dedicated to the findings of the study; and (b) the preparation of Policy Briefs based on key findings from the Pittsburgh Youth Study.
