The goal of the Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Program is to support and enhance State efforts, in cooperation with local jurisdictions, to enforce laws prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages, or the consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors. For the purpose of the program, minors are defined as individuals under 21 years of age.

The New Mexico (NM) Enforcement of Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Grant program continues to work towards prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors and the purchase and consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors in the State of New Mexico. It is the goal of the New Mexico EUDL program to build a statewide underage drinking education and enforcement program that will prevent and delay the early onset of alcohol use and binge drinking among children and youth throughout the State.
