The goal of the Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Program is to support and enhance State efforts, in cooperation with local jurisdictions, to enforce laws prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages, or the consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors. For the purpose of the program, minors are defined as individuals under 21 years of age.
The goal of Georgia's Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws Program is to support and enhance statewide efforts to enforce laws prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages and consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors.
The State will EUDL funds to support statewide compliance checks by the Department of Revenue Enforcement and Control Division's Underage Alcohol Investigative Group, a statewide media campaign to provide information on the dangers of underage drinking, another statewide media campaign to compliment the efforts of the Department of Revenue's compliance checking efforts, as well as implementing new EUDL initiatives targeting Georgia's youth of middle and high school ages.
