The goal of the Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Program is to support and enhance State efforts, in cooperation with local jurisdictions, to enforce laws prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages, or the consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors. For the purpose of the program, minors are defined as individuals under 21 years of age.
Pennsylvania's EUDL initiative will support the following programs and activities: a) Enforcement ' Compliance Checks; Minor Patrols, Concert Details; Source Investigation Trainings; Law Enforcement Trainings on Controlled Party Dispersals, False ID Recognition Training, Project Same P.A.G.E. (PA Alcohol Guidelines for Enforcement); TOT for college and community leaders on Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention of College Students (BASICS); Reconstructing Norms: Preventing Alcohol Related Sexual Assault on College Campus; and/or Alcohol is a Weapon; b) Coalitions ' development of a Statewide Underage Drinking Task Force; Evaluation of Youth Task Forces, Statewide and Regional Conferences; and c) Media ' public service announcements; toll free underage drinking hotline; dissemination of underage drinking literature.
