Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2009, $1,892,000)

Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) will provide technical assistance to the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) national program, as well as ICAC Task Forces and their affiliate agencies, which includes members of federal, state and local prosecutorial and law enforcement agencies. Technical assistance to be provided will include developing distance learning initiatives, providing conference support, providing Task Force meeting support, and delivery of customized onsite technical assistance as requested by Task Force members and approved by OJJDP.


This award will support Project Safe Childhood activities including meetings, conferences, and publications to facilitate public awareness of the issue of child sexual exploitation and the Department of Justice's role in preventing and interdicting such victimization. The awardee will work closely with OJJDP on project activities and deliverables.


This award will support the Project Safe Childhood National Strategy Conference in May, 2011. The awardee will work closely with OJJDP on project activities and deliverables.
