Title V- Delinquency Prevention Program

This program intends to reduce risks and enhance protective factors to prevent at-risk youth from entering the juvenile justice systems and to intervene with first-time and non-serious offenders to keep them out of the juvenile justice system.

Arkansas will issue a solicitation for intervention activities focusing on Disproportionate Minority Contact(DMC). Previous activities included cultural enrichment and visits to colleges and universities. 9th graders who completed the program were referred to an ACT Preparation Program to provide assistance with college entrance exams.
