Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2009, $33,486)
This program intends to reduce risks and enhance protective factors to prevent at-risk youth from entering the juvenile justice systems and to intervene with first-time and non-serious offenders to keep them out of the juvenile justice system.
The State of Utah estimates that a single, continuation project will be funded with 2009 Title V funds in Tooele County. Due to the small amount of funding available, Utah has selected a high risk locality to receive Title V training and funding. The Title V coordinator will continue to work with this community to ensure promising prevention programs are developed. Utah's State Advisory Group (SAG) will oversee this process to ensure success.
