The King County Coalition Against Domestic Violence (KCCADV) project will implement the expansion of a promising practice program seeking to address the needs of children in King County, WA, who have been exposed to domestic violence. Research indicates that exposure to domestic violence as a child is a significant contributing factor to violent and/or other criminal behavior as a juvenile or adult. The primary purpose of the Children's Domestic Violence Response Team is to break the cycles of violence. The Response Team program was originally developed as a result of the federally-funded Safe and Bright Future planning project in King County. NCA/NCF
