For the purpose of the program, minors are defined as individuals under 21 years of age.

The State of South Dakota plans to provide program funding to support underage drinking prevention efforts throughout the State by implementing the following activities: alcohol prevention and enforcement training for youth and/or advisors; public education and outreach; alcohol enforcement activities; community youth alcohol prevention projects; and training for law enforcement, campus security, and resident assistants.
