Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2008, $232,067)

iMentor Interactive's mission is to exponentially expand the possibilities for mentoring one organization at a time. By providing a proven, online mentoring platform that allows any organization to add or enhance mentoring in their programming, iMentor Interactive (iMi) empowers program participants, increases community and volunteer engagement, and furthers the organization's mission. By leveraging the social networks (participants, staff, volunteers, etc.) inherent in each organization's work, iMi plays a key role in closing the mentoring gap, allowing thousands of new organizations to run quality mentoring programs and make hundreds of thousands of new mentor-mentee matches throughout the country.
